1995 – DNA LandMarks is founded as a joint venture between Svalof Weibull seeds and Dr. Benoit Landry.
1999 – DNA LandMarks becomes a unit of BASF Plant Science and is designated the companies “Centre of Excellence” for DNA sequencing and genotyping.
2003 – DNA LandMarks launches a new business initiative to offer its genomics services to external clients. This launch is facilitated by the acquisition of the marker service company Paragen (formerly Celera AgGen, Linkage Genetics and Native Plants Inc).
Today DNA LandMarks provides marker services to a broad range of clients. From cotton to corn, from poultry to pine, our customers’ business vary widely however they all share the need to enhance their breeding programs or expand their quality control systems. DNA markers provide the solutions they seek.
